EXPLORING THE SCENIC RIM

It started as a 6am drive out from Brisbane to visit Kooroomba Vineyard and Lavendar Farm as we love the chapel design by Wilson Architects and wanted to visit. The farm itself was beautiful as were the lavender scones and hot chocolate. We would absolutely love to shoot a wedding here in the future because the area is so beautiful. The chapel design is a masterpiece in itself with the recycled timber framing working as numerous viewing frames of the landscape beyond.

Having left home so early we decided to make a pitstop at Lake Moogerah on our way for Andre to have a look at the dam wall and systems (he has a fascination with any sort of hydraulic engineering), and also captured the serenity of the lake in a few shots including our first proper couple photos together. We then drove for hours along the winding roads getting lost multiple times but it was a well worth it day of adventuring.
